Reservation policy
1. General Booking Conditions
Check-in time: Flexible from 8:00 AM onwards
Check-out time: 1:00 PM
Important:
Services before 8:00 AM are not accepted unless previously arranged directly with the company.
A Late Check-out option is available: the service covers up to 8 additional hours (until 9:00 PM). However, 2 extra hours may be added if needed.
This service must always be communicated and confirmed in advance directly with the company.
It is assumed that the pet is up to date with all vaccinations and in good health condition.
The owner must provide all necessary items for their pet’s stay, including:

Sufficient and appropriate food

Bedding (bed, blankets, etc.)

Entertainment items (toys, leashes, etc.)

Medication (if needed)
The owner must provide truthful information about the pet’s health, personality, and special needs (medication, anxiety, blindness, old age, etc.).
The owner guarantees that their dog:

Is fully vaccinated

Is internally and externally dewormed
-
Has a microchip or, in exceptional cases (recent arrival to the country), a passport number
2. Health, Safety, and Responsibilities
In the event of illness, damage to third parties, and/or death, the owner assumes all related costs.
Veterinary emergencies:
In urgent cases, preference will be given to the client’s regular veterinarian. If unavailable, Dog Care Barcelona will contact Hospital Veterinario del Mar or another trusted clinic.
All veterinary expenses will be covered by the owner.
Dog Care Barcelona has third-party liability insurance. However, any damage or expense resulting from illness, accident, dog behavior, or death will be the sole responsibility of the owner.
All dog breeds are accepted, including those with special needs, provided they do not display behaviors that may compromise the safety of caregivers, other pets, or people.
3. Payment and Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 1 week before arrival (date and time indicated in the booking confirmation).
For bookings made in advance:
If cancellation occurs less than 7 days before arrival, a fee equivalent to 1 night’s stay will be charged.
For bookings made less than 72 hours in advance:
In case of cancellation, the client must pay at least the equivalent of 1 night’s stay.
Daycare services:
If the booking corresponds to a daycare service, in case of cancellation the client must pay the full amount corresponding to the 8 contracted hours.
Cancellations within 48 hours before check-in:
No full or partial refunds will be issued.
Refunds (when applicable) will be processed through the method Dog Care Barcelona deems most convenient, deducting possible transaction fees.
In case of late cancellation or justified reasons (e.g., pet illness), Dog Care Barcelona will not issue cash refunds but may offer a credit balance for future bookings.
4. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Dog Care Barcelona, the client declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
